How We Work

The Circuit has an overall Circuit Structure within which the ordained ministers and deacons - collectively known as the Circuit Staff and the appointed office holders both ordained and local - the Circuit Officers find their place. The final authority is of course the Circuit Assembly, but the day to day operations are overseen by the Circuit Superintendant, working with the Circuit Executive.

The Circuit Mission Statement reads,

The Circuit will initiate, encourage, enable and co-ordinate our Churches in their response within their communities to the good news of Christ, through worship of God, witness to Jesus, growth in faith, respect for creation, vision for the world and service to our neighbours.

As far as possible, the structure of the Circuit is intended to reflect this mission.
