Meeting twice each year: ministers, deacons, supernumeraries, ministers in other appointment, circuit secretary, circuit stewards, 10 local preachers, 2 representatives from each Society. Chaired by superintendent. Open invitation to attend but not vote.
Circuit Superintendent has oversight of the Circuit, and is responsible for ensuring the Circuit and all the constituent Churches are fulfilling their purpose.
The Superintendent is directly supported by the Circuit Secretary, who provides secretarial, diary, clerical and administrative support both to the Superintendent and to such aspects of the Circuit life as the Superintendent thinks appropriate.
Meets four times each year to deal with administrative details and decisions; and to formulate policy to offer the Circuit Assembly. Consists of 6 ministers (elected by staff meeting) and 11 circuit portfolio holders. It is chaired by the circuit superintendent and minutes taken by circuit secretary.
Other appointments within the Circuit structure are made as the Circuit Assembly thinks fit. They are responsible through the Circuit Executive to the Circuit Assembly.
The Preachers Meeting Secretary calls and organises Local Preachers' and Worship Leaders' Meeting
Rural Life Officer ensures Circuit is adequately informed on rural issues and recommends action where appropriate
Safeguarding Officer ensures Circuit is adequately informed on safeguarding issues, ensures that records on this are properly kept, and recommends action where appropriate
InterFaith Officer sustains the Circuit's contacts and relationships to other faiths and life philosophies.
