Christchurch Abbeydale is an ecumenical church founded by four denominations; Baptist, Church of England, Methodist and United Reformed, all worshipping together as one congregation and as part of a wider LEP which encompasses other churches in the area. Our church sits in a suburban residential area, three miles east of the city centre, on a prominent site opposite a Morrisons' supermarket. The flexible multipurpose worship area comfortably seats 185 and is equipped with a sunken baptistry, font, communion-table, computer, three LED audio-visual screens and a sound system with a loop for the hard of hearing. The overall effect makes for a light, airy and welcoming feel to the building.

We welcome children of all ages. A crèche is available for pre-school children and there is also a Junior Church where children stay with us for the first part of the service and then go with the Youth Leader to take part in planned activities.

We have various Worship Resources available for use, please contact the church for more information.
