Christ Church Nailsworth are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Families Worker.

Christ Church Nailsworth is a joint Baptist, Methodist and United Reform Church and is passionate about working to build God's Kingdom in their town.

They believe that everyone should be given the chance to discover Jesus, and understand that this can, and often does happen away from Sunday services.

Their current outreach activities range from clubs at the local school to a weekly wellbeing space in the town.

They are looking for a committed Christian who will work with both adults and children, assisting current work as well as generating new initiatives.

The Families Worker will be willing to work ecumenically and as part of a team that includes a PSALMS sports minister and the minister of Christ Church. The post is part time and will require some evening and weekend work.

Starting salary will be in the range £10,000 — £12,000 pa, depending on experience and qualifications, and will be for 20 hours per week. The appointment will initially be for three years.

Closing date for applications is Saturday 30 November.

Further information can be obtained from Revd Stuart Radford by calling 07956 657759, by email at or from the Christchurch Nailsworth website.
