Minister Support Lay Worker

We are looking for someone to help support one of our Ministers in the Cirencester, Fairford, South Cerney and Tetbury churches.

CAN YOU:

• Provide pastoral care for the congregation & others including visiting in times of need such as at home or in hospital?
• Attend outreach & fundraising events, providing help & support?
• Listen, support & communicate well?
• Be a representative at Churches Together meetings?
• Work alongside colleagues supporting exciting new projects?
• Help grow our mission, encouraging relationships with other churches & the community?
• Help discover new mission ventures & opportunities?
• Demonstrate sensitivity & an awareness of Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity issues?

Hours: This role is part time, 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £15,700 per annum (£31,400 FTE) plus employer pension contributions

There is an occupational requirement for the role holder to be a committed Christian. This appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS Check. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
