The Vine

Resources for Local Arrangement services

The Circuit has subscribed to access to The Vine – a popular resource offering resources for Local Arrangement services.

These resources aim to provide the authentic voice of Methodism; written by Methodists for Methodists. They support churches in providing meaningful lectionary based worship as part of local arrangements; for local preachers and ministers to use as inspiration and a springboard for sermons, and for house-groups , small groups and individuals who want to delve into the lectionary.

Congregations are finding a new way of sharing faith and leading each other in worship. Growing in confidence, deepening faith and developing the ability to express their discipleship in their own words. The Vine provides a means to discovering new skills, abilities and a sense of our calling.

Each week a newsletter containing The Vine at Home information which can be used for personal devotions is sent out followed by a monthly newsletter with the following month's services.
