Mission Lay Worker

Cirencester Ashcroft Church are looking for a creative and innovative person to be part of their team and bring fresh ideas to their outreach projects.

DO YOU HAVE:

• Great communication skills?
• Experience of budget management?
• Ability to support and encourage volunteers?
• Know how to prioritise conflicting demands and remain calm?
• Experience working in the community?
• Ability to tend to spiritual and pastoral needs?
• Proficiency in IT?
• Knowledge of social media?

Cirencester Ashcroft Church are a busy church in the middle of a growing market town. We host children and community activities and have links with Foodbank and other organisations that work with disadvantaged and vulnerable people.

Hours: This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is also suitable for job share applicants
Salary: £31,400 per annum plus employer pension contributions

There is an occupational requirement for the role holder to be a committed Christian. This appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS Check. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
