Peter Clarkson

I joined the circuit in July 2019 and am delighted to be Minister at Christchurch Abbeydale (LEP) and Minister of 3 United Reformed Churches in the Forest of Dean. I have been a URC minister most of my working life, although I have also served an Independent Evangelical Church in Manchester as a Pastor/Teacher, and for Scripture Union Bible Ministries. I am married to Julia and have two sons, both in their early twenties. I am passionate about preaching, evangelism, prayer and healing ministry, and pastoral care. I enjoy countryside walks particularly where there are forests and also swimming, cycling and reading. I love all sports and I am a keen supporter of Manchester United.
